Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of riversofrest.com, Rivers of Rest audio and downloads, email services, and Rivers of Rest applications that connect to third-party platforms. By using the services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the services.

Who may use the services

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, use the services only with permission from a parent or legal guardian. Connected publishing tools are limited to operators who are expressly authorized by Rivers of Rest.

Purpose of Rivers of Rest

Rivers of Rest provides Scripture readings, original guided prayers, peaceful audio, and related educational and devotional material. The services are not medical care, mental-health treatment, crisis counseling, or a substitute for professional advice. If you may be in danger or experiencing an emergency, contact local emergency services or an appropriate crisis resource.

Permitted use

You may access and use public Rivers of Rest material for personal, noncommercial listening and devotional use. A download link does not transfer ownership or grant permission to resell, redistribute, publicly perform, upload, modify, train a model on, or create a competing service from the material unless a separate written license expressly allows it.

Prohibited conduct

You may not misuse the services, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with security or availability, introduce harmful code, scrape or collect information in violation of law or platform rules, impersonate another person, connect an account you do not control, or use Rivers of Rest content or systems for unlawful, misleading, or infringing activity.

Connected platforms

Features involving TikTok, Meta, YouTube, or another platform also depend on that platform's terms, permissions, and availability. Authorized operators remain responsible for confirming each post, caption, audience, and privacy setting. We may suspend or revoke a connection to protect the account, prevent duplicate or unauthorized publication, comply with platform rules, or respond to a security concern.

Email, feedback, and submissions

You may unsubscribe from marketing email at any time. Do not send confidential medical, financial, or highly sensitive personal information through feedback or ordinary email. If you voluntarily submit feedback, you allow us to use it in a nonexclusive, royalty-free manner to improve Rivers of Rest, but we will handle associated personal information under our Privacy Policy.

Purchases

Any future paid product will display its price, contents, delivery method, refund terms, and any additional purchase conditions before payment. No text on this page by itself creates a subscription or recurring charge.

Ownership

Rivers of Rest branding, original prayers, recordings, arrangements, artwork, site content, and software are owned by Rivers of Rest or used with permission. Scripture translations, platform marks, and third-party materials remain subject to their respective rights and notices.

Availability and third-party links

We may change, pause, or discontinue features, and we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Links to other services are provided for convenience; those services are controlled by their own operators and governed by their own terms.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, or uninterrupted availability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rivers of Rest will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use the services. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes and termination

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version here and changing the “last updated” date. We may restrict use that violates these Terms, threatens the services, or creates legal or security risk. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
